Dusty Showers: Founder/President
Dusty Showers is perhaps the most recognizable man in the fight against breast cancer. He is a strong man in a fancy pink bra, the father of two beautiful daughters, and has an insane passion for battling the cancer that has invaded his family’s life. Every year, through his friendships, Dusty is more determined to educate women about mammograms, self exams, and support those battling breast cancer.
Mara Gorden: Founder/Vice President/Survivor
Mara Gorden, initially inspired by a dear friend’s battle with stage 4 breast cancer, had never given much thought to her own mortality or that of those close to her. She is the mother of two young boys and an active volunteer in her community. Mara, now driven as a result of her own personal journey with breast cancer, has become a direct advocate for others, and alongside Dusty, has participated in several breast cancer events.
Peter J. Ristorcelli: Treasurer
PJ, became involved with The 2nd Basemen, Inc through his friendship with Dusty Showers on a local soccer team. PJ is the father of two young children. Inspired by Dusty’s mission, PJ who works as an accountant at Ristorcelli & Associates firm has graciously agreed to donate his accounting expertise to the nonprofit.
Lynn Hunter: Ambassador of Relations
Lynn is an amazing representative of The 2nd Basemen, Inc. in so many different ways. Her commitment to fighting breast cancer and other causes makes Lynn a cherished part of The 2nd Basemen. Inc.
Trisha Pickerel: Ambassador of Rock
Trisha Pickerel, our very own Ambassador of Rock, is a California resident and a breast cancer survivor that has a knack of meeting some of the most notable people. She has put her talents to work in the way of collecting memorabilia with proceeds for The 2nd Basemen, Inc. as well as other important causes.
